Embroidery

Beginner's Embroidery/Cross Stitch Class

When: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Friday, June 25th, lunch included

Where: Home of Debbie Ganem, 306 Summerwind, Victoria

Who: Students age 8-13.

Fee: $10 for materials

Registration deadline: June 11.

The fundamentals of cross stitch and embroidery will be taught. Class size is limited, so register early.

Jr. Master Gardeners

Junior Master Gardener Day Camp

When: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. July 12-23

Where: Victoria County Master Gardener Vocational Education Gardens Pavilion, 283 Bachelor Drive

(Located near the Victoria Regional Airport Tower)

Class size: Limited to the first 15 children ages 8 - 12 years

Cost: $50, includes handbook and drink container.

Please bring: Brown bag lunch, drink and a great attitude.

Register: Pre-registration and payment is required and due by July 7.

During camp you will learn make the world a better place by growing plants.

Get your hands dirty learning how plants need soil and water.

Take care of the environment shared by people, plants and animals.

Find out what's bugging you by exploring the world on insects.

Create beautiful gardens to attract birds and butterflies.

Sample different kinds of foods made from fruits and nuts.

Grow and cook different kinds of vegetables and herbs.

Discover how to make plans for the future, based on your strengths.
