My oldest has the flu. He's very dizzy. Is this like a dizzy flu??

WOW!! First case last week we have been seeing flu pt since September. Hope everyone got their shots!!!!

With all due respect to Dr. Cate, I'm not sure he should be making such definitive, absolute statements. While the CDC does an excellent job in determining which strain they feel will be dominant in any given year, and creating a vaccine against that strain, there are so many different strains of flu virus, and they all have the potential to mutate so quickly, that saying such a statement, I feel, can lead to very much a sense of false security.
The shots are quick and relatively painless; this year, for the first time ever, I felt no more than a pin-prick, and had absolutely none of the associated injection-site pain or after vaccine malaise I have felt in previous years. I encourage each and every person to get the vaccine, young and old.
