Thats a good idea. We are now just getting more officers to work the streets due to a great Lt Turner of the PD got. Why didnt Slick Willie and the lap dogs do something about this sooner? Oh wait that would take away money from the legacy building they have been working on the last few years!

  • I'm surprised no one was killed. The traffic on Navarro is largely unregulated, just about everyone is a speed demon and unconcerned if they cause an accident or if they hurt someone because of their hast and carefree driving.

Navarro could use a full time unmarked traffic patrol vehicle, especially now since the holidays are gearing up.

  • Still under investigation! It's not uncommon for citations to be mailed out to offenders after the investigation. A lot of folks complain about VPD because the articles aways state that no citations are given at an accident. It's possible that Victoria has a accident investigator that had handles the investigation. The patrol officers that arrive simply take statments, information, and collect evidence and turn it over to the investigator. Lot of "behind the scenes" admin work that goes on that never makes it to the paper.
