I'm just wondering why the city is mowing the Loop. They have four tractors over there, and they have been mowing Loop 463 for two days. I believe that TxDOT has that contracted out to be mowed. If they are cutting back on mowing, I was just wondering why the city is out there wasting taxpayer's money mowing something that is already being mowed by TxDOT?

In response to Diane's response to Geraldine: The wealthy got their raise with Bush's tax cut and Congress did also. That is about the only thing that Republicans voted for since Jan. 20, 2009. I would certainly like to have to pay $100,000 or more in taxes each year.

I hope Mr. Wyatt's arm heals quickly. Sorry he broke it patting himself on his back.
I would like to commend the Department of Public Safety and also the Sheriff's Department of Victoria for their excellent job of the dangerous work that they do. I am proud of all of you.

Maybe Calhoun fans have more spirit than Cuero by staying out in the rain, or maybe Cuero fans have enough common sense to get out of the rain. All that I know is that I had a lifetime of mud and rain in the field in Vietnam
