Three men were treated at Citizens Medical Center on Sunday morning after they were injured in a knife fight outside Cowgirls bar on the Houston Highway.

An earlier altercation inside the bar provoked the knife fight and prompted two men to wait outside Cowgirls for a third male to leave the bar at 2 a.m., Victoria police Lt. Michael Tatum said. The man pulled a knife on the other two men in self-defense, Tatum said. No arrests have been made yet.

Names of those involved in the incident were not available Sunday.
