  • Ask any old timer bout the ,,it will not tell you how cold it will be but ,it is 90% acurate on the rain fall in your area,,can,t tell you how much rainfall per month,,
take 6 yellow sweet onions ,an on years eve , before midnite,,pull off any loose skin ,do not wash,,do not cut any onion meat off,,slice onion in half,,take the small portion of the core out of each half, just enough to hold a teaspoon full of iodized salt,,place the onions facing east to west in a row, side by side, but not touching each other,,in a dry room with no humidity,,check 12 hours later,,>> if you put onions out at 11.00pm NEW YEARS EVE,,you will check on them on NEW YEARS DAY at 11.00am ,,12 hours later,,starting from the EAST ,,which will be JANUARY,,going WEST ,,being the last one being DECEMBER ,,they will show water on the top,,those with water tell an say that month it will be wet,,the ones that don,t have water ,,no rain,,so will have very little,,some none,,some be full,,in placing the halfs ,,they do not have to be placed side by side from the same onion,, can be mixed up..both of my grandparents an other old times have done this for years,,this little game I guess you can call it ,,was featured on TEXAS COUNTRY last year were a women in noth texas has been doing this for years an has not been wrong once,,take in mind ,this is only good in your area,,not say ,played in victoria,tx an say it will rain in january,,but not in say waco,,, its kinda interesting,, oh an the onions after the experiment ,,they can be thrown away ,,not GOOD TO EAT or COOK WITH,,have fun this NEW YEARS EVE,,NEW YEARS DAY...
