Area schools competed in the Region 14, Class 4-A district marching band competition at Calallen High School on Saturday.
Victoria East High School marched away with a "superior" rating of 1.
Victoria West High School and Calhoun High School received 2 ratings, or "excellent."
Other results were first divisions, Calallen, Flour Bluff, Cigarroa, Corpus Christi Ray, HM King, Tuloso Midway, Alice, Gregory-Portland; second divisions, Beeville and Moody.
