Victorians turn out to vote early

Since early voting started on Monday, more than 3,400 people have cast their ballots.

As of Wednesday night, 1,857 of those votes were in person, while 1,604 were mailed.

Victoria has a total of 51,692 registered voters.

The last day to submit an application to vote by mail is Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 5 p.m.

Early voting in person continues this week at the main early voting polling location at 111 North Glass, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Early voting in person at the Health Department, 2805 North Navarro, and the Victoria Mall, 7800 North Navarro, will open Friday and will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Early voting in person on Saturday will be at the main early voting polling location, the Victoria Mall and Health Department from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Early voting in person on Saturday will be at the DaCosta Volunteer Fire Department from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
