More early voting numbers

Despite a 40-minute power outage at the polling place, 496 people turned out to vote early on Thursday.

That makes a total of 2,353 voters who have so far cast their ballots in person. Another 1,276 have mailed in ballots.

Victoria County has 51,692 registered voters.

The last day to submit an application to vote by mail is Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 5 p.m.

Early voting continues Friday at the main early voting polling location at 111 North Glass, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Early voting at the Health Department, 2805 North Navarro, and the Victoria Mall, 7800 North Navarro, will open Friday and will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Early voting on Saturday will be at the main early voting polling location, the Victoria Mall and Health Department from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Early voting on Saturday will be at the DaCosta Volunteer Fire Department from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
