Living in the Light run/walk to benefit Hospice of South Texas

WHEN: 7:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 6
WHERE: Riverside Park, Victoria
Living in the Light, an annual run/walk benefiting Hospice of South Texas, will begin at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 6 at Riverside Park.
The event is of varying lengths, including 10K, 5K and a Kid's Fun Run.
The 5K walk or run is on a flat course through the park. The 10K is somewhat more challenging with a moderate hill.
Prizes will be awarded to the overall top three men and women winners and the top three in each age division.
A kids' short fun run will begin at the conclusion of the adult runs and all children taking part will receive a ribbon.
Registration is available online at active.com or pick up a registration form and drop off entry fees at the Hospice of South Texas office, 605 E. Locust Ave.
Register by Sunday to secure a T-shirt and goodie bag.
Entry fees are $35 for the 10K, $30 for the 5K and $10 for the Kids Fun Run, ages 11 and under. An additional $5 late registration fee for the 10K and 5K will apply after Sunday. Registration deadline is Nov. 4.
Packet pickup will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 5 at Academy Sports & Outdoors, 8903 N. Navarro St.
