Corrections and Clarifications

Victoria College does not have a written agreement with the University of Houston - Victoria about the future use of its buildings. A VC facilities committee is working on a written memorandum of agreement between the two schools, which still needs approval from the VC board of trustees. A story on Page A1 on Tuesday, Oct. 26, contained unclear information.

The hearing for former drill instructor DJ Jaynes was not conducted similar to a trial, but was much more informal and similar to a court hearing. A story on Page B1 on Saturday, Oct. 23, contained incorrect information.
