The National Weather Service out of Corpus Christi has issued a special weather statement for the Crossroads area. A cold front and numerous thunderstorms are expected to move in Monday and Monday night. Thunderstorms coupled with the cold front may become severe with possible damaging winds and large hail. Storms will move rapidly south and off the coast through Tuesday morning. Cooler temperatures and strong winds are expected to follow the cold front. Residents are encouraged to monitor weather reports for updates.
