CUERO - Parents of students in the Cuero school district will now get important information in a more efficient way, according a school district news release.
The school district is now using AlertNow, a school-to-parent communication service.
With AlertNow, the Cuero ISD will be able to deliver important information to parents and guardians quickly and reliably by phone and e-mail, according to the news release.
The messages will be sent periodically to notify parents about important events, such as parent-teacher conferences, PTO meetings, back-to-school nights, fundraisers, attendance issues and report card reminders.
With this service, the Cuero ISD will also be able to reach parents promptly in the event of an urgent matter, according to the news release.
Parents should notify their child's school immediately if their phone number or e-mail address changes during the school year.
Even with the new system in place, parents with questions should not hesitate to contact the principal or attendance clerks at the campuses where their child attends school, according to the release.
