Man robs Boling Post Office

A man in his mid-40s robbed the Boling Post Office at gunpoint at 11:44 a.m. Tuesday.

The suspect is described as a black man with a small build, about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a moustache and dark-colored glasses. He was wearing an orange University of Texas baseball cap and a light-colored sports coat, according to a Wharton County Sheriff's Office press release.

Officers arrived on the scene within three minutes of a 911 call, but the suspect had already fled south on Farm-to-Market Road 442 in a dark gray, passenger sports car.
