Jennifer Rose Johnson and Leighton Allan Lassmann, both of Goliad, were married at 3 p.m. on July 31, 2010, at Immaculate Conception Church in Goliad. Father Ralph Baidoo officiated the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Johnson Sr. of Goliad. She is the granddaughter of Ima Whitfield of Goliad, and the late William and Stella Davis of Gonzales, and the late Clyde T. Johnson of Goliad.

The groom is the son of Jennifer Dunno of Victoria, Jerry Dunno of Kenedy and Allan Lassmann of Victoria. He is the grandson of Billie Lassmann, the late Allan Lassmann of Victoria, James Zak of Inez, the late Jean Zak of Inez, Barbara Dunno of Victoria, and the late Bill Dunno of Victoria.

Kristin Walker of Pflugerville and Jayme Raab of Victoria attended as matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Cheyenne Borchert of Inez, Bethany Lange of Victoria, Janet Person of Gonzales, Laura Borchert of Inez, Kelly Picha of Yoakum, and Casey Graham of Portales, N.M. Carlyssa Borchert of Inez attended as flower girl.

Stephen Ressman of Cuero served as best man. Groomsmen were Bubba Bialek of Victoria, Kurt Lassmann of Victoria, Jason Mares of Victoria, Corby Jones of Inez, Cory Leita of Victoria, Matt Brown of Inez, and Chris Dodd of Victoria. Coby Borchert of Inez served as ring bearer.

Ushers were Johnny Sierra of Thomaston and A.J. Parsons of Victoria.

The bride was escorted by Dr. Bruce McKee of Gonzales.

A reception was held following the ceremony at the Goliad Memorial Auditorium. Following wedding travel to Las Vegas, Nev. in December to the National Finals Rodeo, the couple will reside in Goliad.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Goliad High School and a 1999 graduate of Sul Ross State University in Alpine with an associates in veterinary technology. She is employed by Gonzales County Vet as a registered veterinary technician.

The groom is a 1992 graduate of Industrial High School. He is the owner of Lassmann Welding Service and is a contract welder.
