This is my Uncle Roy from my step-dad, Doug Smith's brother, whom I have always adored dearly. Uncle Roy is indeed an inspiration to all of us. As a kid, I so much enjoyed being around him. He is such a joyful person to know and I pray for God's peace and love to surround him and his lovely wife, Cindy as Uncle Roy transitions from this world to the best world. Love you much Uncle Roy. I admire Mr. Smith's courage, faith, and forsight. He is an inspiration! Also, he is an example; doctor's cannot preciously predict "one's expiration date", only God can. There are good doctors that can offer their educatated opinion. As far as Dr. Meyer and the Hospice of South Texas nurses, they are compasionate, experienced and special people. May God continue to bless and comfort Mr. Smith.
