Plane debris might offer answers for missing men with Victoria ties

Recovered debris might lead to answers about two missing men with ties to the Crossroads area.

Neal and Seth Spradlin, nephews of Victoria Realtor Dolores White, were aboard an Anchorage, Alaska, plane that disappeared Aug. 21. Debris from their plane was discovered Tuesday evening, White said.

Findings included personal items and pieces of the plane, but search teams did not locate bodies of any of the four men aboard the plane.

"They're praying if the plane crashed in water, which it probably did, that they were able to swim to shore," White said. "I don't know if that's possible."

Adverse weather conditions hindered searches on Wednesday. White said, as of Thursday afternoon, she hadn't heard anything else from her family.

The debris might not offer answers yet, she said, but it did bring the family added hope.

"At least it's something," she said.
