May 21: Hallettsville - Four times per year at the Knights of Columbus Hall from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Arts and Theatre

March 30-April 8: Victoria - The Victoria Art League Spring Show, Bridge Street Gallery from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

April 2: Victoria - The Victoria Ballet Theatre's annual Spring Gala presents the comedy ballet, "Gaite Parisienne." With performances at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., tickets will be $20 presale or $25 at the door.

April 8-10, 15-17: Port Lavaca - The Main Street Theatre presents "What the Bellhop Saw," directed by Hollie Ragle. Friday and Saturday show times are 8 p.m. Sunday show time is 2 p.m.

April 9: Victoria - The Victoria Fine Arts Association presents Jam, Jazz, Art & More, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. in downtown Victoria. For more information, e-mail Imkoliba@gmail.com.

April 15-April 23: Victoria - Theatre Victoria will perform "Plaza Suite" by Neil Simon at the Leo J. Welder Center. 7:30 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

April 21: Victoria - The Victoria Symphony presents "Downtown Rhythms," at One O'Connor Plaza, 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

April 30: Victoria - Together with choruses of the University of Houston, the Victoria Symphony presents "The Verdi Requiem" at the Victoria College Fine Arts Auditorium, 8 to 10 p.m.

Fundraisers and Miscellaneous Events

March 30: Victoria - Victoria College will feature "Eat, Pray, Love" author, Elizabeth Gilbert in its Lyceum Series. 11 a.m. to noon at the the Victoria College Fine Arts Auditorium.

April 2: Victoria - The Third Annual Victoria Shining Stars Golf Tournament at Colony Creek Country Club at 1 p.m. to benefit the local Special Olympics team, Shining Stars.

April 9: Rockport - The 7th Annual Herb Festival at the Paws & Taws Convention Center from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

April 9-10: Victoria - Victoria Preservation Inc. 2011 Home Tour. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; Noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

April 15-17: Rockport - The 22nd Annual Tour of Homes will kick off with a party from 6 to 10:30 p.m. Friday. The tour will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Noon to 6 p.m. Sunday

April 16: Cuero - DeWitt Medical Foundation Gala VIII at the home of Walter and Judy Fisher at the Rancho Del Rio. 400 Raffle tickets will be sold for $100 each for a cash prize of $10,000. Call 361-275-0511 for tickets.

April 28: Victoria -Victoria College will feature "The Rookie" muse and former professional baseball player Jim Morris. Noon to 2 p.m. at the college's Fine Arts Auditorium.

April 30-May 1: Rockport - The 10th Annual Nautical Flea Market at Rockport Harbor, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

May 7-22: Victoria - Builders Association of Victoria hosts the Parade of Homes spanning three weekends.

May 13-14: Rockport - The 12th Annual Babes on the Bay Fishing Tournament will be held at the ACND Festival Grounds. For more information, visit www.babesonthebay.com.

May 28-29: Rockport - The 15th Annual Rockport Festival of Wine & Food at the Texas Maritime Museum grounds, 4-11 p.m. each day.

Farmers Markets

April 2, April 16, April 30, May 7, May 21: Rockport-Fulton - Farmers Market: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Fulton Navigation Park; Produce, honey, homemade pasta, tamales and many other items. Schedule is monthly the first, third and fifth Saturday.

Museums

Museum of the Coastal Bend - Open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Victoria College campus, 2200 E. Red River St., Victoria. Admission: adults, $3.50; seniors (55+), $2.50; students (age 4-grade 8), $2; free for museum members, VC and UHV faculty, staff and students, and children under 4.
