Best-selling author to speak at Friends of the Library annual meeting

Author Susan Wittig Albert will be the guest speaker at the annual meeting of the Friends of the Victoria Public Library from 2-4 p.m. Sunday.
Albert's fiction, which has appeared on the New York Times bestseller list, includes mysteries in the China Bayles series and the "Cottage Tales of Beatrix Potter." She has also written a series of Victorian-Edwardian mysteries with her husband, Bill Albert, under the pseudonym of Robin Paige.
Albert is also the author of "An Extraordinary Year of Ordinary Days," recently released by the University of Texas Press and "Together, Alone: A Memoir of Marriage and Place."
A book signing will follow the meeting with Albert's books available for sale.
Friends members and nonmembers are invited to attend.
