St. Joseph tennis players qualify for TAPPS state tournament

SAN ANTONIO - Four St. Joseph players are headed to the TAPPS Class 5A state tennis tournament.

Jaclyn Boozalis and David Du qualified in singles, and the team of Keaton Warren and Alex Innes advanced in doubles at the TAPPS South Regional tournament on Monday and Tuesday.

Boozalis finished fifth in girls singles play at Trinity University.

Du finished seventh in boys singles play at the University of Incarnate Word.

Warren and Innes finished eighth in boys doubles play.

The state tournament is scheduled for April 26- 27 at the Waco Regional Tennis Center.
