Bullet strikes arm of city employee at required training

A ricocheted bullet struck the arm of a city employee who was participating in required firearms training at the city firing range Monday.
The wound is not life-threatening.
The city is investigating the incident to ensure all proper safety procedures were followed and to minimize the chances of this event occurring again.
Because of health privacy laws, the city declined to disclose any other information about this event.
