Justin Turner

On March 5, Justin Turner was honored with the Outstanding Vice President award for the Texas-Oklahoma district of Circle K International, the largest collegiate service organization in the world. He served as the 2010-11 vice president of the Circle K International chapter at The University of Texas at Austin.

Over Spring Break Turner and 18 other students from the McCombs School of Business traveled to Orange Walk, Belize to teach business and entrepreneurial skills to students at ITVET, the largest technical school in Belize. He helped the students prepare business plans to be presented in front of a board of investors so that they could secure the funding needed to start their own businesses after graduation. Turner is a May graduate candidate at the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in management information systems and a minor in psychology. He will be relocating to Houston after graduation to work as a technology consultant at Protiviti.

Turner is the son of Randy and Lynette Turner, of Victoria. He is the grandson of Oscar and Sally Capistran, Morla Walker and Charles and Margo Turner, all of Victoria.
