A car crashed into Walgreens, 2906 Houston Highway, about 5:15 p.m. Monday.

Rosalia Cisneros, 76, failed to apply the brakes on her Nissan Altima and ran it into the side of the stone building, said Senior Patrol Officer Jerry Sepulveda, with the Victoria Police Department.

Driver and passenger airbags deployed, but Cisneros and her husband, Ernesto, were uninjured, Sepulveda said.

The building sustained minor cosmetic damage, and a building inspector determined it remained safe.
