Cuero teen found dead at home

A Cuero teenager is thought to have taken his own life after his body was discovered at a home early Sunday morning.
At 4:30 a.m. Sunday, Cuero Police Department officers were called to a home in the 600 block of Aransas Pass Street. The on-scene investigation indicated no suspicious circumstances and no sign of a struggle, according to a news release from the Cuero Police Department.
DeWitt County Justice of the Peace Bill Robinson pronounced the 16-year-old dead at 4:59 a.m. Preliminary cause of death is classified as possibly self-inflicted. An official cause of death is pending the outcome of the full autopsy ordered by Robinson, according to the news release.
The city did not release the boy's name or how he died. The judge could not be reached for comment.
