  • he SEC put a hold on it because they will need another university to also join. They can't have 7 in one section and 6 in the other.

Eventually all the major universities will be a member of one of two super conferences. When that happens we will finally have a playoff system to determine the overall champion, hopefully.

  •  This meeting has now been "postponed" indefinitely, Branch is taking too much heat from Dallas area Ags and is not willing to piss them off.  Branch has higher political aspirations and needs all the $$$ and support he can get.  The man realizes there is nothing he or his committee can do to stop the Aggies.  The Ags are moving on anyway, it's a done deal, despite the Advocates headlines today.  The SEC MUST have A&M make the formal request to join, otherwise the SEC will be sued. The term “tortious interference”  is being thrown around by the bevo12 lawyers, lawyers from Texas & Baylor are working o.t. trying to block this move.  Despite Texas fans calling the Ags irrelevant for years, they sure seem interested in stopping “little brother” from moving on!    As of today, President R. Bowen Loftin now has authorization to make moves with regards to Texas A&M's conference future and A&M’s conference future is to our Southeast!!

  • SECessionist Rick Perry forgets his hatred of the feds by deciding to run for POTUS and the Aggies are leaving to the SEC. Seems like a trend to me.
