Founded earlier this year in Hallettsville, SonKissed is a Christian organization and support group designed to help young ladies between the ages of 15 to 25. SonKissed means "Kissed By The Son of God" and is for all all girls regardless of religious preference or belief, said Ericka Sluka, organization president.
According to the organization's vision statement, it hopes to become a global presence offering basic essentials of life - counseling and mentoring; training toward fundamental, educational and professional excellence; and the imparting of wisdom, hope and purpose in Jesus Christ to those in need.
The utmost goal is to present a generation who has been kissed by the Son of God, send out these extraordinary people to pass on the torch and keep the lamp of hope continually ignited, according to the organization's website.
