Well when I opened the paper this morning and saw the news about John Sharp being named Chancellor of the A&M System I was elated. What a smart move by the regents. John is a first class genuine authentic person and I for one think this is one of the best pieces of news in a long while. And yes John would have made a great Governor! But this will be a great gig for him. Good job! I now feel much better about the possibility of UHV moving to the A&M System. Before I was a bit worried that A&M was a bit cool on our move. I think this will make a difference if we move forward to making the change.

I never heard of him but does this mean all the goofy aggies around here are going to get all stirred up again to switch UHV to A&M ?
