That was friday's move in number. Just like other universities around the state more will move in between now and next week.
At some schools move in is a week long process.
KCIVery well put. Don't forget all those parking spots they cannot find because walking across the campus might be to far.
The university predicted 400 new freshmen enrolling...that number was repeated several times by the rah rah cheerleaders shoving a new university system down our throats.
Explosive growth, they claimed! We need a new campus!! Oh dear, oh dear...how will we handle all these students??? Extend Airline Road!! Build new apartments!!! Bring your boots!!!
FACT is that less than 50% of that number showed up. Sure, a few more will trickle in...maybe they will even get up to the 50% mark, but they won't be anywhere near the predicted number.
Wonder if ol' Will "Nuclear War" Armstrong will cite the ACTUAL numbers next time he sits down with his TAMU or Texas Tech cronies.
