  • countrychic,

What about Vampires? Maybe a rope of galic will save us. Then there is the "others" that must be evil because you heard it on a "Fair and Balenced" news cast. Where is Toquamada when you need him?

  • "What about Tim McVeigh, the kids at Columbine, David Koresh, and many other non-Muslims who have created tragedy in this country?"

They were extremists and all of them are dead - your point is? Oh, I guess it's we should overlook Muslims who are extremists because well......why? I don't know I guess. I'll have to agree with countrychic that there seems to be an awful lot of Muslim extremists, blowing up s#it all over the world - aw well, there just blowing off a little steam, Muslims will be Muslims you know :( And why worry, I mean as long as we tell them we like them a whole lot they will leave us alone - right?

And finally "Will" you seem to know an awful lot about trailer trash - just sayin :(

  • Countrychic,

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you display an excessive quotient of ignorance. It's disheartening and, quite frankly, saddening to see this to such a degree in another human being. I believe, however that you can dispel this malady easily if, and only if, you relinquish the grip that fear has over your mind on this issue.

  • Country chic you are generalizing the muslim population. Kinda like your a country chick, so you must weigh 400 pounds, missing a few teeth, 'cept for the two that holds the marlboro outta your lip while you squat on the front porch of your trailer and your bafefoot kids run around with dirty faces waiting for your 'ol man' to get back from the plant shift, cooking Chickenfried venison backstrap and catfish with a cold keystone waiting for him when his 1977 chevy pickup with bondo, arrives on the dirt driveway cluttered with old washing machines and toys..

  • countrychic, what about Tim McVeigh, the kids at Columbine, David Koresh, and many other non-Muslims who have created tragedy in this country? Look it up! Bad people (and good people) are not limited to any one race, gender, religion, etc. Talk about blinders!

  • why do want to know real names?? gonna google those people whose comments you don't like and find out where we live?? showing your true colors Mr. Williams??

  • CountryChic.
If you didn’t care about what I think of you, then why still post? The level of ignorance, stupidity, and yes hatred is showing brightly.
This is why I wish VicAD would inculde commenters using real names.

  • Mr Williams: I don't care what people think of my comments. I will keep posting my opinions and if you don't like them, don't read them. Also, if you truly don't trust white people, then more power to you. That's your choice and your opinion. I'm basing my beliefs on current issues, not something that has happened many, many, many, years ago!!

  • In light of Country Chic’s comments, I would like to put things in perceptive.
Here is Country Chic’s comment. “I used to not be this way, but too much has happened for me to truly trust any Muslim.”
I wonder would Country Chic and people like her be angry if I said this. “I used to not be this way, but too much has happened for me to truly trust any white person”.?
Country Chic’s comment is akin to the anti-Jewish comments during the Reichstag fire.

    Mr. Williams

If you really, really didn’t care what people think of your comments, then why are you still posting?

  • I have had very close friends from all over the world and just about any religion you could think of and I would trust them without question.

  • The print edition of the VicAd actually stated that the girls were playing some kind of game on their phone, and, countrychic, this was apparently AFTER Ramadan was over.

Just goes to show that children, and people, are more alike than different to me.

  • They could be reading the Koran on their smart phone - just as many Jews and Christians read the Bible on theirs.

  • countrychic,

I base trust on the individual not what someone else thinks. Let's assume a police officer comes to your aid. Are you going to ask thier religion?

And why would you think about the texting?

    September 1, 2011 at 4:18 a.m.
  • Typo-oblivious. I truly love this country and what it stands for. But, the more we give and trust, look whats happens. Just stating the facts!!

    August 31, 2011 at 6:12 p.m.
  • they didn't have to give up texting?? vet either you're a very, very good hearted person or ablivious to what's happening here in the good ole USA. I used to not be this way, but too much has happened for me to truly trust any Muslim.
