One woman injured in a rollover crash on U.S. 59 (Video)

One woman was transported to Citizens Medical Center following an 18-wheeler roll-over wreck on U.S. Highway 59 near Port Lavaca Highway.

Saknovia Jackson, 37, of Houston, was exiting U.S. Highway 59 at the U.S. Highway 87 South in a KGM Express semi-truck when the truck rolled off the exit ramp at about 12:34 p.m., said Victoria Police Sr. Patrol Officer Herschel Buck.

Jackson was trapped in the vehicle until emergency service personnel cut the truck and rescued her.

Jackson was transported to Citizens Medical Center, her condition is unknown at this time.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation, Buck said.
