Saga Broadcasting, Time Warner reach agreement
Crossroads viewers will still have access to KAVU-TV and Newscenter 25 broadcasts.
Saga Broadcasting, LLC and Time Warner Cable on Friday signed a retransmission agreement, said Jeff Pryor, general manager of the Victoria Television Group.
The move ends negotiations that threatened to cease KAVU-TV broadcasts for Time Warner customers in Cuero, Yoakum, Gonzales, Port O'Connor and Seadrift. It ensures cable subscribers in those cities will continue receiving broadcasts for the next three years, Pryor said.
"KAVU-TV wishes to thank all of our viewers in those communities for their patience and support," he said, "and Time Warner Cable for working with us to arrive at an equitable solution in these negotiations."
