Town Talk: Another survivor signs the Pink Heals Truck

Nina Weaver, who is currently undergoing cancer therapy, is signs the Pink Heals Fire Truck.

On Wednesday, Nov. 30, Seadrift School had a celebration honoring faculty members and other visitors that are cancer survivors or are battling the disease. The Pink Heals fire truck and police car, accompanied by the sheriff, came to the campus and surprised the students and staff with lights shining and sirens blaring. Suzanne Beaver, Kelley Lillge, and Margaret Charnetski, Nina Weaver, Vickie Brigham and Cheryl Blevins were recognized at the event. Former Principal of Seadrift School, Nina Weaver, who is currently undergoing cancer therapy, is shown signing the Pink Heals Fire Truck.
