No one was injured after a plane made an emergency landing at Victoria Regional Airport on Monday evening.
The pilot of a Navy King Air T-44 made an emergency landing after the cabin of the two-engine plane began filling with smoke, Victoria County Assistant Fire Chief David Phillips said.
The plane landed safely. The pilot was treated for smoke inhalation on the scene.
Phillips said it is unclear what caused smoke to appear in the cabin, though it may have been an electrical problem.
The co-pilot was uninjured, and both were headed back to their air base in Corpus Christi, Phillips said.
