Kacey Carabajal, daughter of Amy Hudson and the late Rudy Carabajal, granddaughter of Linda and Larry Lee of Beeville and Sandra and Monte Broome of Thomaston, has graduated with a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor. She received the Laura Cole Award, which is given to the most outstanding nursing student of the class. Carabajal will be working at the new Scott and White Children's Hospital in Temple in the pediatric intensive care unit.
