• First job: I was a bus boy at Floyd's Restaurant in Corpus Christi when I was 16 or 17 years old.

• What it taught me: I learned I definitely wanted to pursue an education so I didn't have to be a bus boy ever again. It was a lot of work, especially when the high school football teams came in after practice. The restaurant was all-you-can-eat for $1, and it was a madhouse.
