Here is a list of cancellations and closures:

DOW Seadrift Operations

Employees whose leaders have determined they are not critical to operations should not report to work Thursday. Current forecasts predict below-freezing temperatures and precipitation beginning early Thursday morning, making travel hazardous.

Please consult with your leader for further expectations and details. Employees should check the Seadrift Weather Line and e-mail for updates on instructions for Friday. Those working day shift on Thursday should make contingency plans to stay overnight if road conditions are too hazardous for travel. Please consider bringing extra food, clothing and bedding.

It is strongly advised not to travel unless absolutely necessary, and to have plans for dealing with severe winter weather, including potential power outages, during the next several days.

Further communications will be provided through Management Bulletins and the Seadrift Weather Line at 1-866-630-8654.

Victoria College

If the campus closes and classes are canceled, students, faculty and staff will be notified via the VC Emergency Notification System. There will also be announcements issued to local media and updates posted on the VC homepage and in the Pirate Portal.

Will be closed Thursday and Friday. It will resume regular operating hours on Saturday.
