If access is cut from the barge canal, this lake would no longer be a freshwater lake.
A better option may be to cut access from the bayou on the south side of the lake. There is already boat access to the bayou on Hwy 35.

How does government money not cost taxpayers? Although this money may not come directly from Calhoun County, it is tax dollars one way or another.
Will the public be able to fish and have a picnic? Is it even safe to eat fish from there?
