The construction of new waterlines will affect streets in Victoria starting Monday.
Crestwood Drive will close to through traffic between Sam Houston Drive and Ben Jordan Street for the construction of a water line at the intersection of Sam Houston Drive and Crestwood, according to a city of Victoria news release.
The construction should be completed in one day, weather permitting.
Also Monday, Bridge Street will be reduced to one lane northbound between Forrest and Goodwin streets for the construction of a new waterline.
This project should take about two weeks, weather permitting.
All businesses and parking lots in the construction zone will remain accessible via alternate routes. There will be no on-street parking allowed in the construction zone.
