Great question. I did interview one of his law partners -- Lee Keeling. Unfortunately, to trim the story and zero in on how I decided to tell it, I cut quotes from Keeling and about five others. Even so, Keeling and the others played a big part in helping me get to know Ron Walker and deciding which of the dozens of stories to tell about him. Keeling, for instance, praised Walker for his toasting abilities (as did many others), and that theme played a big part in how I told the story. Hope that answers your question -- Gabe

Not trying to start anything but why didin't the reporter interview any of Mr. Walker's law partners for this story?
