Well I don't care what that Wilk said that wasn't straigt wind damage out there, there was stuff twisted up everywhere. I was awaken to my house vibrating and the sound of like a train running over the top of my house. How does straight wind take a field of arrgation water system and wrap them across poles..... There was a twister....and being without electricity for 24 hours just didn't help either.

Crazy storm. VEC worked throughout the day Sunday to restore power and were still working at 6pm. Our power had to be rerouted but we were up and running by 9am and about 9pm last night it went out again for a short time while they completed repairs and rerouted us again. Thank you VEC.

Our power went out about 4:30am and was back on by 9am in Placedo. It was an ugly storm. Glad there were no fatalities listed.

Our linemen with VEC deserve a tip of the hat. We lost our power during the storm in SE Victoria County. We had our power restored in ~24 hrs. These guys are busting their butts in the dark, cold and wind to get us back to some semblance of normal. We are fortunate to have these guys as our neighbors. Thanks again.
