Ernestine Mojica Kidder is the Citizens Medical Center artist of the month for January.

Kidder, who is retired from Victoria College as an English and Spanish professor, has studied art for many years with most of her training through the college. She prefers oils, but has worked in watercolors and acrylics.

Her paintings range from still life to life drawing to portraits and drawing. She prefers figure drawing.

She is a member of the Victoria Art League, the Rockport Center for the Arts and the Harlingen Art Forum.
