No one was injured when a plane made an emergency landing at the Victoria Regional Airport shortly after 10 a.m. Friday.
An Air Force T1 training jet was in flight when the three pilots inside smelled smoke in the cabin, said Victoria County Fire Marshal Ron Pray. Smoke was also slightly visible within the cabin.
"They declared it an emergency, as is procedure," Pray said. "Our units responded, including the city fire department."
EMS technicians checked the pilots to ensure they were OK and the plane was towed inside to await inspection by Air Force mechanics.
"There were no injuries, nobody hurt," Pray said.
