Police released the name of the driver of a GMC Sierra whose mirror struck a boy on Sam Houston Drive Friday night.
Staci Irvin, 20, of Victoria, was determined to be not at fault in the accident, said Lt. Pat Aitchison, with the Victoria Police Department.
The 6-year-old boy had been attempting to cross the street with his sisters near Putt-Putt Golf and Games. He was transported to Citizens Medical Center for observations because of a bloody nose and aching head.
Police originally reported the boy was 5 years old.
They would not release the boy's name.
