Several businesses in the 800 block of Bob White Road were evacuated after a bomb threat was called in to Patterson Drilling on Monday morning.

Victoria County Sheriff's deputies, along with officers from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and FBI, were called in to investigate a bomb threat made to Patterson's Drilling, 844 Bob White Road, about 10:53 a.m.

After a nearly three-hour long investigation, no explosive device was found.

"We're confident at this point there is no explosive device in the facilities," said Chief Deputy Terry Simons of the Victoria County Sheriff's Office.

Roads leading to the businesses were re-opened after the investigation ended.
