Karyl Elizabeth Fowler was recently named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Southwestern University.

During that time she also completed an internship at the Texas State Capitol in Austin, serving in the office of Representative Charles Schwertner of Georgetown.

Karyl is a 2009 graduate of Victoria Memorial High School and a 2012 graduation candidate of Southwestern University, pursuing degrees in political science and English.

Karyl is the daughter of Dale and Dana Fowler, of Victoria.
