I hope they have the evidence correct is this one! Kind of Ironic that we haven't heard of any elderly rapes around lately since they have caught this creep. This just makes me so Ill to my stomach how someone can rape an elderly person.
Tinstar and d6975...Please believe me when I say that IF this guy is guilty, I hope he spends the remainder of his life aa a guest of the Huntsville Hilton. Howwever, I have NO problem with the state paying for DNA tests to determine definitive proof. There have been way too many people released from prison lately, after serving long terms, for crimes they didn't commit; their innosence determined by DNA years after their conviction. In cases like this, I believe DNA testing should be part of the standard procedure in investigation. That way, we won't be finding out years down the road that an incompetent police lab (remember Houston?) or an over zealous District Attorney (think of the number of innocent people convicted in Dallas) haven't led a prosecution and conviction of an innocent man. The tests up front are also a lot cheaper for the taxpayers than the compensation money awarded to the wrongly convicted defendant when he is released from prison.
25 cent bullet works for me.
before we are through with this citizen the state and counties will spend $1M on his worthless hide!
