I'd like to register for classes this fall at Victoria College. When does registration begin?
Fall online registration begins at 8 a.m. on July 25. Online registration can be done via the Pirate Portal, located on the VC homepage. Current students and returning students who are in good standing are eligible to register online, as well as any new student who has attended a new student information session. Classes begin on Aug. 22.
Below is the schedule for adviser-assisted registration:
Main campus - registration periods take place in the Technology Center, and are as follows: Aug. 1-4, Aug. 8-9, Aug. 17-19, and Aug. 22-23 (late registration.)
Times may vary. See the VC website for exact times.
VC Calhoun County Center - Aug. 8, from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
VC Gonzales Center - Aug. 9, from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
Senior Citizens - Aug. 19, from 8-9 a.m. in the Technology Center.
Students are encouraged to use the Pirate Portal to see their class schedule, accept their financial aid awards and pay for their courses, whether the entire amount or through an installment plan. Students may also pay by phone by calling 361-485-6840 or pay in person at the Payments Office, located in the Student Services Building on the main campus.
Students who take classes at the Gonzales Center or Calhoun County Center may pay for their courses online, or in person at the center where they are enrolled. Please note that payments must be received by the deadline, or classes will be cancelled. See the VC website for details about payment deadlines.
For additional questions, feel free to call 361-573-3291 to speak to a friendly call center specialist.
Once you register and pay for your classes, take your schedule to the VC Bookstore and the staff there will help you find the books you need. Then, you're good to go.
Have a great fall semester.
