A burned truck sits at the site of a fire on Leeper Lane on Sunday evening.

A semi-tractor trailer and a medium-duty work truck caught fire at Pioneer Natural Resources at the intersection of U.S. Highway 87 and Leeper Lane about 7:25 p.m. Sunday.

Victoria County Fire Marshal Ron Pray said three men were servicing the medium-duty truck pump with a compressor, when the compressor overheated and caught the truck on fire.

Moments later, the blaze reached the cab of a nearby semi truck, which also caught fire.

"The trailer was loaded down with oils and grease, so the whole thing just caught fire," Pray said.

Nursery Fire Department, Victoria Fire Department also responded to the scene, and the flames were extinguished in about 15 minutes, Pray said.

No one was injured in the fire.
