He's been a city manager, a member of a historical board and a Main Street manager - and people say he "thinks out of the box."
We are referring to Victoria's new Main Street manager, Mike Sigg.
We encourage Sigg to continue his successful history as a person who can revitalize and figure out the ins and outs of business. Please bring that creative thinking and intense dedication to Victoria.
Already, Sigg has said that Victoria has all the pieces to be a Main Street city. Where other cities have had vacant buildings, Victoria mainly has occupied buildings. So the Main Street challenge will require a lot of creativity to get people to want to come to Victoria, and Sigg has admitted the job will be "tough" but not impossible.
His determination is a reason the Victoria Main Street Board of Directors hired Sigg. His background and experience says he can construct a plan.
Sigg has created a survey to get public input, and that will help him figure out the next step. You can take that survey at victoriamainstreet.com.
We are excited to see what creativity Sigg develops for Victoria. We believe he will be a very valuable Main Street manager, and we have faith he can do the job.
