A benefit raffle will be at Man to Man Ministries' Camp WhetStone on Sunday for brain cancer patient Nellie R. Hall.

The event aims to defray Hall's medical expenses.

"She has Stage 4 glioblastoma," said Hall's sister, Sue Stary. "She's simultaneously on chemo and radiation treatment and without medical insurance; you do what you can do."

Hall's son, Wayne Atkinson, said the tumor is in an area of the brain that is inoperable.

The benefit starts at 3 p.m. where items valued from $100 to $2,688 - including a Blue Agility 125 Scooter, a Remington .270 caliber rifle with Bushnell Scope, a Compaq Laptop Computer and gift cards to Cabela's and Academy - will be raffled off beginning at 6 p.m. Raffle tickets can be purchased prior to the event, or until 3 p.m. Sunday for $10 each, or seven for $50.

Other items to be raffled off include half a calf, valued at $800; calf hind quarter, $480 value; and a SEDU flat iron, valued at $200.

Winners of the prizes are not required to be present to win.

Stary said Hall has a bank account established at First Victoria bank for those interested in contributing monetary donations.

Hall was diagnosed with brain cancer in May of 2011, and Stary reports she is "Doing well."
